Congresswoman
Corrine Brown, along with PRI, EWC, and other local elected
officials held a press conference on campus today to announce
that EWC is the “Jacksonville Cares” donation
site for goods to be sent to the victims.
“The
rescue and relief efforts are disorganized and time is
of the essence,” stated Congresswoman Brown. “The
citizens [of New Orleans] are poor and without resources.
I am calling on all the citizens of Jacksonville to reach
into their hearts and give to the people in New Orleans,
LA.”

The
donation site is located at the corner of Kings Road and Pearce
